Certifym.net is a subscription-based certification exam preparation platform, operated by Certifym Exam Services, LLC. It delivers original practice exam banks and full training courses for IT, security, cloud, audit, and project management certifications — spanning ISC2, ISACA, CompTIA, Microsoft Azure, AWS, PMI, ITIL, and The Open Group — through a custom-built WordPress platform I designed, developed, and operate end to end.
The problem
Certification prep is dominated by two bad options: expensive big-name platforms with recycled content, and brain-dump sites of dubious legality and worse accuracy. Certifym takes a third path — every question is an original work, authored against the certification body’s current official exam outline, written at genuine practitioner difficulty with rationales that explain why the best answer beats the near-miss. Candidates can try a free 15-question sample for any exam before subscribing.

Certifym Exams
A custom WordPress plugin that delivers timed practice exams with per-domain scoring, subscription gating, and free sample sets — importable from validated JSON via WP-CLI.
Certifym Courses
A companion plugin providing structured training courses — modules, lessons, key-term glossaries, and progress tracking — for certifications including CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CISA, Security+, and Network+.
Content pipeline
A Python build system that authors, validates, deduplicates, and exports every question bank — turning new exams into a content problem rather than an engineering one.
SEO architecture
Sixty-plus exam sample pages rebuilt programmatically with structured data, canonical management, and a related-certification graph — aligned to current search standards.
Content engineering
The catalog runs on a repeatable authoring pipeline with quality controls most prep platforms skip:
- Blueprint fidelity. Every bank is weighted to the official exam outline in force at build time — when a certification body refreshes its domains, the corresponding banks are rebuilt, not patched.
- Practitioner-grade distractors. Wrong answers are plausible near-misses that require real judgment to eliminate; exactly one option is most correct, and every rationale justifies why it beats the runner-up.
- Scenario depth at scale. Full exam series run multiple question sets per certification, each rotating through a different industry vertical — healthcare, financial services, manufacturing and OT, government, retail, SaaS, higher education, energy — so repeat practice builds transferable judgment instead of memorized answers.
- Automated integrity checks. Cross-set deduplication guarantees zero repeated questions across an entire series; deterministic shuffling balances correct-answer positions so the key is never a pattern; schema validation gates every export before it reaches the site.
- Simulator capstones. Series can conclude with a randomized-draw exam simulator that samples across the full bank, approximating the real testing experience.
Operating the platform
Certifym is a solo operation: I author the content, build the plugins and theme, run the infrastructure, and manage the catalog. The platform is a Kadence-based WordPress build with custom PHP throughout — every plugin release passes lint and structural validation before deployment, and imports run through WP-CLI for repeatable, scriptable content management. Subscriptions are $10/month per exam track, or $15/month bundled with the companion training course.
